The USC CMAA student chapter was founded in January 2007 with the understanding that students needed to have greater interaction with the CM industry including individuals who are recent alumni and seasoned professionals, as well as CM firms and related companies. To achieve this goal, the USC CMAA was born, becoming the first CMAA student chapter in southern California.

The USC CMAA student chapter is open to all those interested in pursuing a career in construction or whose chosen career will be tied to the construction industry. These include both graduate and undergraduate students in the disciplines of construction management, engineering, business, real estate more.

Constructing communities, building leaders.

The USC CMAA student chapter is the premiere student organization for any student who has an interest in the built environment, emphasizing the importance of the construction phase. USC CMAA’s mission is “to promote professionalism and excellence in the management of the construction process.”
